Product description
Self-cleaning wedge wire filters are used in industrial liquid filtration systems where continuous removal of suspended solids is required without the use of disposable filter elements. The FSC-70 self-cleaning filter is designed for medium capacity filtration in industrial processes including water treatment, coatings, adhesives, solvents and oils. The robust stainless steel construction makes the system suitable for demanding operating conditions.Technical overview
The FSC-70 filter consists of a cylindrical wedge wire filter element combined with a rotating scraper assembly. During operation, the motor-driven cleaning system removes deposited particles from the filter surface and transports them to the sediment chamber. This design allows continuous filtration while maintaining stable pressure conditions and minimal maintenance requirements.Operating principle
Liquid enters the filter housing and flows through the wedge wire filter element from the outside to the inside. Suspended particles larger than the selected micron rating accumulate on the external surface of the filter screen. The gear motor rotates the cylindrical filter element while the scraper blade removes deposited solids from the screen surface. The separated particles settle in the lower chamber of the housing and can be discharged through the drain valve while filtration continues.Material options
