Product description

The VL300 EC-W is a high-capacity mobile evaporative air cooler designed for commercial and professional spaces up to approximately 400 m². With a maximum airflow of 30,000 m³/h, it is suitable for cooling large ventilated work areas where conventional air conditioning may be impractical or unnecessary.

The 2027 EC-W configuration combines evaporative cooling with an EC motor, continuously adjustable airflow, integrated UV water treatment and Wi-Fi connectivity for remote operation and monitoring.

Operating principle

The VL300 EC-W uses evaporative, also known as adiabatic, cooling. Warm ambient air is drawn through a water-wetted evaporative medium. As water evaporates, heat is absorbed from the incoming air and the air temperature is reduced before the cooled air is discharged into the workspace.

The process does not require a conventional refrigeration compressor or refrigerant circuit. Instead, the system uses water evaporation combined with high-volume airflow.

Because evaporative cooling increases the moisture content of the treated air, sufficient air renewal is important. Doors, windows, ventilation openings or mechanical extraction should allow humidified air to leave the building while fresh air enters.

Actual cooling performance depends on ambient temperature, relative humidity, ventilation, ceiling height, internal heat sources and cooler positioning.

Not applicable to this model. The VL300 EC-W does not include the dedicated Pureflow G4 air pre-filtration system used on the corresponding industrial cooler configuration.
