Pleated stainless steel filter cartridge for high flow and long service life
INOX Standard Pleated Metallic Filter Cartridges are designed for demanding liquid filtration applications where high flow rates, mechanical strength and cleanable construction are required. The all-welded pleated stainless steel design provides a significantly larger filtration surface compared to non-pleated metallic cartridges, resulting in improved permeability and longer operating cycles.
The enhanced media construction, with support layers positioned on both sides of the filtration layer, increases rigidity and dirt holding capacity. This allows the cartridge to operate reliably in high viscosity fluids and heavily loaded process streams.
Filtration principle
INOX Standard cartridges operate using surface and depth filtration through pleated stainless steel mesh. Process fluid flows from outside to inside the cartridge, with particles retained on and within the pleated mesh structure.
