The KM48 is a high-capacity mobile industrial evaporative air cooler designed for large warehouses, production halls, workshops and other industrial spaces up to approximately 600 m².

With a maximum airflow of 48,000 m³/h, continuously adjustable airflow and integrated Pureflow G4 air pre-filtration, the KM48 is designed for cooling large industrial work areas where high air volume and robust operation are required.

Operating principle

The KM48 uses evaporative, also known as adiabatic, cooling. Warm ambient air is drawn through a water-wetted evaporative medium. As water evaporates, heat is absorbed from the incoming air before the cooled air is discharged into the workspace.

The process does not require a conventional refrigerant circuit or compressor-based refrigeration system. Cooling is generated through the combination of water evaporation and high-volume airflow.

Because evaporative cooling increases the moisture content of the treated air, sufficient air renewal is important. Loading doors, windows, roof vents, ventilation openings or mechanical extraction should allow humidified air to leave the building while fresh air enters.

Actual cooling performance depends on ambient temperature, relative humidity, ventilation, ceiling height, internal heat load and the position of the cooler within the workspace.

No selectable material variants are specified for the KM48. The unit is supplied as a complete mobile industrial evaporative cooling system.


Available micron ratings

The KM48 uses Pureflow G4 air pre-filtration rather than a selectable micron-rated filtration stage. The G4 pre-filter is designed to reduce coarse airborne contamination entering the cooling system.

G4 pre-filtration should not be interpreted as HEPA or fine-particle filtration. No selectable micron ratings are specified for this model.
