Consultoria em Engenharia e Filtração

Consultoria independente, com foco na engenharia, para processos de filtração de líquidos e ar.

Engineering Support for Industrial Filtration Processes

Filtration performance is influenced by many factors, including product characteristics, contamination behaviour, process conditions, and filter media compatibility. Selecting the correct filtration strategy therefore requires more than simply choosing a filter from a catalogue.

Filtra International provides independent engineering support for industrial filtration processes. Our specialists evaluate the full process environment to determine which filtration technologies, filter configurations, and system designs are most suitable for the application.

Engineering & Consultancy for Process-Critical Filtration

Filtration performance should always be evaluated in the context of the full process. Product composition, contamination behaviour, operating conditions, and quality requirements all influence which filtration strategy is technically suitable.

Filtra International supports industrial filtration projects through engineering analysis, technical review, and application-specific testing.

01

Process evaluation

Review of product characteristics, contamination profile, viscosity, temperature, pressure, flow conditions, and required product quality.

02

Technical problem analysis

Assessment of filtration issues such as poor product quality, frequent clogging, unstable flow, short filter lifetime, or inconsistent process performance.

03

Technology and system review

Evaluation of whether the currently used filtration principle, filter media, and system configuration are appropriate for the application.

04

Testing and optimisation support

Where required, filtration testing can be used to support technology selection, process optimisation, validation work, or scale-up decisions.

Independent Filtration Engineering

Filtra International is not a filtration manufacturer limited to a single production range. Our role is to evaluate the process objectively and determine which filtration technology, filter media, and system configuration are most suitable for the application.

Many filtration suppliers can only recommend the products and technologies they manufacture themselves. In practice, this often means that the proposed solution is constrained by the supplier’s own production portfolio rather than by the actual needs of the process.

Filtra International works differently. We are independent in our engineering approach and can evaluate a broad range of filtration solutions based on technical suitability.

This means we can assess which filtration principle is most appropriate for the application, whether that involves depth filtration, surface filtration, membrane filtration, bag filtration, cartridge filtration, staged filtration, or a combination of different technologies.

Where required, we can combine technologies from different manufacturers in a single engineered solution. This makes it possible to develop filtration systems that are optimised around contamination behaviour, process conditions, product quality targets, and operational performance.

The objective is not to promote a fixed product range. The objective is to identify the most suitable filtration solution for the customer’s process.

Typical manufacturer-led approach

  • Limited to in-house product range
  • Technology choice restricted by production portfolio
  • Less flexibility for complex applications
  • Process is often adapted to the available product

Filtra International approach

  • Independent engineering-based evaluation
  • Selection based on process and contamination profile
  • Access to multiple filtration technologies
  • Possibility to combine solutions from different manufacturers
  • Optimisation focused on total process performance

Engineering-Driven Filtration Support

Filtra International combines practical filtration experience with engineering analysis, process evaluation, and technical testing. The objective is to provide filtration solutions that are technically suitable, operationally reliable, and aligned with the actual requirements of the process.

Support may involve evaluation of an existing filtration setup, testing for a new process, technology selection, optimisation of staged filtration systems, or validation-related activities for regulated applications.

Independent technology selection

Recommendations are based on process suitability rather than a fixed manufacturing portfolio.

Process-based engineering

Product characteristics, contamination profile, operating conditions, and quality requirements are evaluated together.

Testing-supported decisions

Filterability testing, integrity testing, and technical validation can be used where additional process insight is required.

Practical implementation focus

The aim is not theoretical optimisation alone, but reliable filtration performance in real production environments.
