Product description

The VL120 EC-W is a mobile evaporative air cooler designed for commercial and professional spaces up to approximately 150 m². With a maximum airflow of 12,000 m³/h, it is suitable for larger work areas where targeted cooling and continuous air movement are required.

The 2027 EC-W configuration combines evaporative cooling with an EC motor, continuously adjustable airflow, UV water treatment, automatic swing and Wi-Fi connectivity for remote operation and monitoring.

Operating principle

The VL120 EC-W operates using evaporative, or adiabatic, cooling. Warm ambient air is drawn through a water-wetted evaporative medium. As water evaporates, heat is absorbed from the incoming air, reducing its temperature before the air is discharged back into the workspace.

Unlike conventional compressor-based air conditioning, the process does not require a refrigerant circuit. The cooler is intended to operate with continuous air renewal, allowing warmer and more humid air to leave the building through doors, windows, vents or mechanical extraction.

Actual cooling performance depends on ambient temperature, relative humidity, ventilation, internal heat load and the positioning of the cooler.

Not applicable to this model. The VL120 EC-W does not include the dedicated Pureflow G4 air pre-filtration system used on the corresponding industrial cooler configuration.
