Metallic mesh filter bag for extreme temperature and heavy duty liquid filtration

The Metallic Mesh Filter Bag is designed for demanding liquid filtration applications where polymer filter media cannot withstand the operating conditions. Manufactured from high grade metal mesh, these filter bags offer exceptional mechanical strength, reusability and extreme temperature resistance.

Metallic mesh filter bags are particularly suitable for processes involving very high temperatures, abrasive particles or aggressive mechanical conditions where conventional felt or monofilament filter bags would fail.


Filtration principle

Metallic mesh filter bags operate using surface filtration. Process liquid flows through a woven metal mesh structure, while particles larger than the mesh openings are retained on the surface of the bag.

This filtration principle provides:

  • precise and repeatable particle separation

  • very low pressure drop at high flow rates

  • immediate visual inspection of retained solids

  • excellent cleanability and reusability

Because particles remain on the surface, metallic mesh filter bags can be cleaned and reused multiple times without loss of structural integrity.
