Product description

Metallic filter cartridges for extreme process conditions and long service life

Metal Mesh & Fibre Filter Cartridges are designed for demanding liquid and gas filtration applications where polymer based filter media are not suitable. These cartridges are used in processes involving high temperatures, aggressive chemicals, high pressures or where repeated cleaning and reuse are required.

The fully metallic construction provides excellent mechanical strength, dimensional stability and long operational lifetime. Depending on the selected filtration technology, the cartridges offer either defined surface filtration or depth filtration with high dirt holding capacity.

Filtration principle

Metal Mesh & Fibre Filter Cartridges operate using either surface filtration or depth filtration, depending on the media construction.

Metal mesh filtration

  • Multi layer woven or sintered metal wire mesh

  • Defined pore structure for consistent filtration

  • Particles retained on the surface and within the mesh layers

Metal fibre filtration

  • Sintered metal fibre structure

  • Depth filtration throughout the media thickness

  • High dirt holding capacity and stable efficiency

This filtration approach provides:

  • Stable and repeatable filtration performance

  • High mechanical strength

  • Low risk of media deformation

  • Suitability for high temperature and aggressive fluids

  • Compatibility with repeated cleaning cycles
