The KM12 EC-W is a mobile industrial evaporative air cooler designed for workshops, warehouses, production areas and other demanding work environments up to approximately 150 m².

With a maximum airflow of 12,000 m³/h, adjustable EC motor control and integrated G4 air pre-filtration, the unit combines evaporative cooling with additional protection against coarse airborne contamination entering the cooling system.

Operating principle

The KM12 EC-W uses evaporative, or adiabatic, cooling. Warm ambient air is drawn through a water-wetted evaporative medium. As water evaporates, it absorbs heat from the incoming air before the cooled air is discharged into the workspace.

The cooling process does not require a refrigerant circuit or conventional refrigeration compressor. Because evaporative cooling increases the moisture content of the treated air, the workspace should provide sufficient air renewal through doors, windows, ventilation openings or mechanical extraction.

Cooling performance depends on ambient temperature, relative humidity, building ventilation, ceiling height, internal heat sources and cooler positioning.
