Product description
Self-cleaning wedge wire filters are designed for continuous removal of suspended solids from industrial liquids without the need for disposable filter cartridges or bags. These systems allow uninterrupted filtration while minimizing maintenance requirements and operating costs. The FSC-110 self-cleaning filter is designed for medium to high capacity industrial filtration systems and is commonly used in water treatment, coatings, adhesives, solvents and oil processing applications.Technical overview
The FSC-110 filter combines a cylindrical wedge wire filter element with a motor-driven scraper assembly. During operation, solids accumulate on the external surface of the filter screen while the rotating scraper removes deposited particles and transports them to the sediment chamber. This configuration enables continuous filtration with stable pressure conditions and minimal operator intervention.Operating principle
Process liquid enters the filter housing and flows across the wedge wire filter element from the outside to the inside. Suspended particles larger than the selected micron rating are retained on the external screen surface. The motor-driven scraper continuously removes accumulated solids from the filter element. The separated particles settle in the lower chamber of the housing and can be discharged through the drain valve while filtration continues.Material options
