Product description
Manual wedge wire filters are used for removal of suspended solids from industrial liquids in applications where simple, robust filtration equipment is required. These filters provide reliable operation without the need for disposable filter cartridges or bags. The FSC-50M manual wedge wire filter is designed for filtration of liquids such as water, paints, coatings, oils, solvents and adhesives in industrial processing systems.Technical overview
The FSC-50M filter uses a stainless steel wedge wire filter element that retains particles on the outer surface while the filtered liquid passes through the screen structure. Accumulated solids are collected in the lower chamber of the filter housing and can be removed manually through the drain valve without dismantling the filter.Operating principle
Liquid enters the filter housing and flows across the external surface of the wedge wire filter element. Particles larger than the selected filtration gap are retained on the outside of the screen. As solids accumulate on the screen surface, they settle in the lower chamber of the filter housing. The collected contaminants can be discharged through the drain valve using the internal system pressure. This allows the filter to continue operating without replacing filter cartridges.Material options
